Hello friends, how have you been and your health? I bid happy new Month. Welcome to another edition of The Ambassadors Today.

Today will be dwelling on; THE HEALTH BENEFIT OF WATERMELON.
Watermelon is a vine-like flowering plant originally from South Africa. Despite popular belief that watermelon is actually considered a nutrient dense food, a food that provides a high amount of vitamins, minerals and anti oxidants for a low amount of calories.

Health Benefit
Consuming fruits and vegetables of all kinds has long been associated with reduced risk of many lifestyle-related health conditions. Many studies have suggested that increasing consumption of plant food like watermelon decreases the risk of Obesity and overall mortality, Diabetes, heart diseases and promote a healthy complexion and hair, increased energy, overall lower weight.

Watermelon is high in lycopene:( Important for bone health), Vitamin C, Potassium, Vitamin A, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B6, Magnesium and Potassium.
Watermelon seed contain some level of protein ( 1 gram of protein per 24 seeds)
It contains 92% of water, thereby guiding against dehydration.

You can eat every part of watermelon, the Pink part, the seed and even the white and back. It all rich in calcium needed for your bone health. If you notice unusual pain anywhere in your body, it might be a pointer to low calcium in the bone.
